Google Alumni Panel

Please join STA and Alumni Council members Nicholas Humphries, Tibby Iz, Jennifer Meacham, Tomi Odunsi, and Tony Watkins as they share insights on what it's like to work at Google as well as what the current environment means for recruiting in the near term. This event will be moderated by Carrie Magelowitz and includes an AMA portion where panelists will answer questions submitted by students in advance.

Panelist Backgrounds:

Nicholas Humphries‘12: Nicholas is a Strategy & Operations Lead at Google, focusing on Google News Initiatives. Prior to Google, he worked at Univision Communications in Strategy & Operations within their Digital segment. Before Stern, Nicholas served as a producer for Sky News Australia and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Tibby Iz ‘17: Tibby is a Product Marketing Manager at Google focused on Brand & Audience Growth. Prior to her MBA, she worked at Merkley + Partners where she focused on Digital Content Creation and Strategy.

Jennifer Meacham '15: Jennifer joined Google back in 2010 as an AdWords Analytical Lead before coming to NYU to pursue her MBA in 2013. After graduation, she worked at Goldman Sachs in private wealth management before rising to the roles of VP and Chief of Staff in both Securities and Fixed Income. Jennifer re-joined Google within the last year as a Shopping Sales Specialist. 

Tomi Odunsi ‘15: Tomi works in Strategy and Operations at Google. Prior to Google, she held positions at Spotify as a Senior Manager focusing on Strategy and as a Consultant at Deloitte. Tomi began her career in Banking as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Tony Watkins ‘11: In Tony’s 8 years with Google, he has held numerous positions within the organizations and currently leads Retail Practices. At Google, he previously served as Head of InterActive Brands Global, worked as a Senior Sales Consultant, and began his career within the company as Senior Analytical Lead, Media & Entertainment.
